approach to play    In his approach to design, Gutierrez Jr. is all about pushing the envelope. practice/process   In his practice, Gutierrez Jr. is all about getting things done. He sees the design process as a dialogue and loves working with clients to define and develop creative solutions and strategies that align with their unique brand ethos. He's flexible, adaptable, and always willing to share his best practices to ensure that everyone evolves through the process.

education    His calling for design led him to earn a degree in Communication Design from the School of Visual Arts (BFA’19). Where he studied under the guidance of Debbie Millman, Harry Gassel, Min-Hee Lee, E.T.C. Studio, and ANTI/ANTI Studio. Having had a prior career in fashion, he also attended the Fashion Institute of Technology (10’) and earned a degree in Fashion Marketing & Merchandising from CUNY New York City College of Technology (AS’09).

out-of-office    During the peak of the pandemic in 2020, he picked up running as a form of meditation. His love for running grew fierce. Three months later in August, on a cool summer night he ran 26.4 miles just to say he could. He organized and ran a 2-hand touch football league for 5 years. He also played organized & street basketball for 12 years. Leading him to become a volunteer coach for his local Youth-Organized League for five years and won a championship!
