His craft working with metals has led him to make custom jewelry pieces, with a knack for making Grillz for clients. As he looked to launch his first collection, he wanted content that would compliment his website.The approach was to take the audience on a journey of the process of crafting his signature work. Highlighting the process of how he turns solid pieces of metals and rocks into jaw-dropping wearable jewelry.This short video gives the audience a glimpse into a day of Hiro in his workshop, all while keeping craftsmanship the main focus. For the overall feel of the video, I was inspired by Hiro's personal style. So, conceptually I wanted to convey elements of rawness, goth, and grunge. Keeping a very sleek and edgy tone throughout the use of photography, we decided to keep the branding in black and white. Highlighting the jewelry pieces as it plays on the body.The result was a cohesive language across all touch points of the brand. I introduced the idea of connecting the brand with their music background. As well as defining their brand aesthetic by establishing their visual language that caters to their target market. For this series, Mark contracted me to add graphical elements to his photos. He wanted me to push the concept and use features of nature. The approach was to expand a visual language that complemented his series with features of nature interacting with the model inside the space. Creating an experience for the model as if Earth had been without humans for decades. The set had plants, roots, weeds, and sunlight making their way through the cracks of the abandoned building structure.The result is a collection of surreal plant designs. Interacting with the model throughout the series set in the future photographed in an abandoned building structure as she visits Earth after years of life on another planet. On Earth, plants had blossomed without any human presence in an exaggerated fashion. Capturing different vantage points of their lineature design.The approach for this series started with my pure love for photographing sports cars. My style of shooting focuses on the details through close-ups. I also have a sweet tooth for interior spaces. I find them aesthetically pleasing. Much of my work focuses on the negative space within a space and how it embodies light and shadows. There is beauty in breaking down a structure in its entirety and dissecting pieces that generally get overseen due to their functioning purpose. The client is a huge vinyl record enthusiast and has a long love for rock-n-roll music. As a long time fan of the band, I was commissioned to redesign one of his favorite records.For this project I was highly influenced by the fashion culture of the band’s era. I embraced it by creating a piece that would make you feel that raw energy, and breathe the good old days of rock-n-roll. My goal was to create a sleeve that pushes the boundaries of how we can experience a beloved record sleeve. It needed to stand out amongst a collection of hundreds of records.The result was a laser-etched leather record sleeve. The choice of leather for the material allowed me to highlight the aesthetic of the band’s glory days from when it originally released in 1982. Providing an in-depth look at the company's culture and impact. The book is an accumulation of public interviews, data, and market analysis. Providing a great sense of the brand positioning in the market while highlighting the company’s cultural pillars.This resulted in a 128 page pocket sized book, intended to be used internally within the company for new hires. The choice to print it in a small size was inspired by vintage motorcycle manuals, which led to the decision of printing these on newsprint and using black ink. The goal was to design a magazine that showcased creatives that were pushing the boundaries of their respective fields.The approach I took was led by the reader I had in mind, who would want such a publication. The ones interested in the next wave of creatives. Exploring typographic systems that were experimental and fashion forward. The result was a 68 page magazine highlighting next level creatives and culture influencers that push boundaries.
